Sun shines on sports day

Our Year 6 children organised a range of participation and competitive activities followed by open afternoon and family picnics.

The Year 6 children designed and managed a round-robin of activities which the younger children enjoyed while the field was buzzing with parents catching up and supporting the children.  The competitive spirit was on show when the traditional obstacle, egg and spoon (racquet  and ball) and running races began.  The overall winning house will be announced on Friday.

Following the sports, children took their parents, carers and other family members into classes to share their children's work.  Then families enjoyed some games and relaxation on the field with picnics and food delivered by The Westbrook.
