The government is continuing to provide additional funding to improve the provision of physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools.  

For the academic year 2023-24 this funding was £16,680.

The motto that underpins our aim to encourage all children to engage in an active lifestyle is: 'more children active more of the time'.  This extra funding enables us to do this by being able to offer a greater range of sports opportunities for participation and competition and specialist PE coaching for more children as well as additional equipment and professional development for our staff team.
